How to Travel from Bihar to Bengaluru by Train

This guide is for anyone planning to travel from Bihar to Bengaluru. If you're looking for detailed information on train options, you're in the right place. Let’s dive straight into it!

Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka and India’s IT hub, attracts many travelers from Bihar for purposes such as education, jobs, and other opportunities. However, travel options are somewhat limited.

- **Buses**: There are no direct buses between Bihar and Bengaluru.

- **Flights**: While flights are available, they are often too expensive for many lower-middle-class families.

- **Trains**: Trains remain the most practical and affordable option, with a few direct trains operating regularly between Bihar and Bengaluru.

Here are the most reliable train options:

1. **Sangha Mitra Express (12295)**

- **Route**: This train departs daily from **Danapur** (near Patna) and reaches Bengaluru at stations like **KR Puram** and **SMVT Bengaluru**.

- **Reliability**: It is known for being punctual and runs every day, making it a dependable choice.

- **Challenges**: Tickets are often fully booked, especially during festive seasons, so plan and book in advance.

2. **MFP-YPR Special (06230)**

- **Route**: This train departs from **Muzaffarpur** in Bihar and arrives at **Yeshwantpur** in Bengaluru.

- **Frequency**: This is a weekly train, operating only on Saturdays.

Aside from these two, there are a few other train options available, which I’ll cover in my next blog.

For now, if you're planning your journey, make sure to book your tickets early, especially during busy travel periods, to avoid last-minute hassles. Safe travels!
